Do you serve the whole East Rand?

Yes. EzAuto covers all of Ekurhuleni including Boksburg, Benoni, Springs, Germiston, Kempton Park, Edenvale, Brakpan and Nigel.

Can blacklisted applicants apply on the East Rand?

Yes. Rent-to-own is a rental agreement, not a credit agreement under the NCA. We don't pull a credit bureau report, so blacklisted and debt-review applicants can apply.

How much does it cost?

Weekly rentals start from R1,750 depending on the vehicle, including comprehensive insurance, tracking, roadside assistance and licence/registration.

How does the deposit work?

A rental deposit is required on every rental — typically 10%–50% of the vehicle value, set during approval. A higher deposit reduces your monthly rental. Conditions are in your signed rental agreement.

What's included in the rental in the East Rand?

Every EzAuto rental in the East Rand includes the vehicle, comprehensive insurance, tracking, 24/7 roadside assistance and licence/registration in one fixed monthly amount, so there are no separate bills to budget for.

Can I use an EzAuto vehicle for e-hailing or work in the East Rand?

No. Vehicles are for private use only. E-hailing (Uber, Bolt, inDrive), taxi, delivery, heavy-duty and any income-generating use is not permitted anywhere in South Africa, including the East Rand.

What happens at the end of the rental term in the East Rand?

At the end of the term you choose: buy the vehicle for an optional R5,000, hand it back, or upgrade to another vehicle from the rental fleet. The choice is yours — nothing is automatic.

Do you have stock available for the East Rand applicants?

Yes. Stock is searched nationwide and sorted nearest to you first, so the East Rand applicants aren't limited to vehicles physically in the city. Your pre-approval amount determines which vehicles you can choose from.
