Do you serve Gqeberha and East London?

Yes. EzAuto covers Nelson Mandela Bay and the wider Eastern Cape, including Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Uitenhage, Despatch and East London.

Can blacklisted applicants apply in the Eastern Cape?

Yes. Rent-to-own is a rental agreement, not a credit agreement under the NCA. We don't pull a credit bureau report, so blacklisted and debt-review applicants can apply.

How much does it cost?

Weekly rentals start from R1,750 depending on the vehicle, including comprehensive insurance, tracking, roadside assistance and licence/registration.

How does the deposit work?

A rental deposit is required on every rental — typically 10%–50% of the vehicle value, set during approval. A higher deposit reduces your monthly rental. Conditions are in your signed rental agreement.

What's included in the rental in Port Elizabeth?

Every EzAuto rental in Port Elizabeth includes the vehicle, comprehensive insurance, tracking, 24/7 roadside assistance and licence/registration in one fixed monthly amount, so there are no separate bills to budget for.

Can I use an EzAuto vehicle for e-hailing or work in Port Elizabeth?

No. Vehicles are for private use only. E-hailing (Uber, Bolt, inDrive), taxi, delivery, heavy-duty and any income-generating use is not permitted anywhere in South Africa, including Port Elizabeth.

What happens at the end of the rental term in Port Elizabeth?

At the end of the term you choose: buy the vehicle for an optional R5,000, hand it back, or upgrade to another vehicle from the rental fleet. The choice is yours — nothing is automatic.

Do you have stock available for Port Elizabeth applicants?

Yes. Stock is searched nationwide and sorted nearest to you first, so Port Elizabeth applicants aren't limited to vehicles physically in the city. Your pre-approval amount determines which vehicles you can choose from.
