How much is a Kia Sonet per month in South Africa?

From about R12 532 a month on an entry R240 000 Sonet, up to roughly R16 248 a month on a R360 000 derivative. Insurance, tracking, licensing and 24/7 roadside assistance are already inside that amount, and it is billed monthly.

What deposit do I need for a Kia Sonet?

A rental deposit from 10% of the vehicle value — about R24 000 on an entry Sonet and R72 000 at the top of the range. Deposits run from 10% to 50%; a larger deposit lowers your monthly rental. All conditions are set out in the signed rental agreement.

Is the Kia Sonet monthly amount fixed for the whole term?

Yes. Your rental is agreed up front and stays fixed for the term of the agreement, and it is billed monthly. There is no balloon payment and nothing to settle at the end — you have the option to own the vehicle.

Can I get a Kia Sonet with bad credit?

Yes. Rent-to-own is a rental agreement rather than a credit agreement, so we run a soft credit check that does not affect your score and assess on affordability from R14,000 gross income a month. Blacklisted and debt-review applicants are welcome.
