Can I rent-to-own a bakkie in South Africa?

Yes. EzAuto offers rent-to-own on popular passenger-use bakkies including the Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, Nissan Navara, NP200, and Volkswagen Amarok. It's a rental agreement, not finance, with an optional R5,000 purchase at the end of the term.

Is this rent-to-own bakkie for personal or business use?

Our rent-to-own bakkies are for personal and family use — weekend trips, school runs, small loads, lifestyle. We don't fund commercial fleets, but a self-employed driver who uses one bakkie personally is welcome to apply.

What's included in a rent-to-own bakkie payment?

Comprehensive insurance, vehicle tracking, 24/7 roadside assistance, and licence & registration admin — all bundled into a fixed rental billed monthly. You cover fuel, servicing and tyres.

Do I need to be approved by a bank?

No. There is no bank involvement and a soft credit check only. We assess affordability from your income, with a minimum gross monthly income of R14,000.
