# EzAuto

> EzAuto is South Africa's leading rent-to-own car provider, helping everyday South Africans drive quality vehicles through affordable weekly or monthly rental payments — with an option to own at the end of the term. No credit checks. 90% approval rate.

EzAuto specialises in rent-to-own vehicle solutions for South Africans who want a practical, transparent path to car ownership without traditional credit-based barriers. We assess affordability based on current income, not credit history, making our programme accessible to blacklisted individuals, those under debt review, self-employed workers, first-time car owners, and anyone who has been declined by banks.

Our all-inclusive rental payments cover comprehensive insurance, vehicle tracking, 24/7 roadside assistance, and licence/registration admin. After completing your rental term (typically up to 60 months), you can purchase your vehicle for just R5,000.

Minimum requirements: R14,000/month gross income, valid SA ID or passport, proof of residence, proof of income (3 months payslips for employed, 6 months bank statements for self-employed), and a valid driver's licence.

## Definition

Rent-to-own (also called rent to buy) in South Africa is a weekly vehicle rental agreement that ends with an option to own the car. The renter pays a rental deposit — typically 10%–50% of the vehicle value — plus a fixed weekly rental that includes comprehensive insurance, tracking, 24/7 roadside assistance and licence/registration. Approval is based on verified income (minimum R14,000 gross per month), not a credit bureau score, so no credit check is required. EzAuto weekly rentals start from R1,750.

- Vehicle value R110,000–R150,000 (compact hatch: Polo Vivo, Swift, i10): from R1,750/week
- Vehicle value R150,000–R200,000 (hatch and sedan: Polo, Starlet, Rio): from R2,150/week
- Vehicle value R200,000–R280,000 (compact SUV and 7-seater: Ertiga, Creta, Urban Cruiser): from R2,650/week
- Vehicle value R280,000–R450,000 (bakkie and premium SUV: Hilux, D-Max, Fortuner): from R3,250/week

## Fleet rules

Quality used passenger vehicles under 125,000 km and no older than 8 years. French makes up to 5 years. American makes are not rented. Servicing and maintenance remain the renter's responsibility during the term.
